Frisk Meals | Ashland, Jacksonville, Medford | (541) 601-7923
Kristin Cipes and Marsha Youngman have spent a lot of time in the gym. Kristin, by chosen profession, Marsha, a former body-building competitor, by personal choice. They understand the commitment it takes to find the time to not only stay fit but also eat the right foods. Healthy food. Eating healthy usually means sacrificing good taste. And with all the other everyday demands, shopping and preparing healthy meals to support a fitness regimen takes additional planning time, too. Well, last year Kristin and Marsha decided to take on the challenge. First they went “Frisk.”* Then they went rogue, providing nutritious prepared meals to Southern Oregon. Determined to source all their food locally—from sustainable farmers who provide natural produce and grass-fed meats—they combed the Rogue Valley. They’ve set the bar high: farm fresh, urban fast, and delicious. Cheeky, isn’t it?
Combining their collective experience in fitness, nutrition counseling and food prep, means Frisk Meals are nutritious and delicious. Prepared by loving hands, taking care to cook vegetables and carbs al dente, (not too soft; firm to the bite) so they won’t be over-cooked when reheated. Hand-packed in hand-made, insulated wood crates, Frisk Meals are delivered “fresh” (not frozen), every week, to designated, convenient pickup locations in Ashland, Jacksonville and Medford. Right in your own backyard (well, almost).
*Frisk is the Scandinavian word for “healthy” and the Norwegian word for “fresh.”
Colloquially, “I’m frisk” means, “I’m game.”
We rely on our team of dedicated meal preparers. With a promise to deliver up to 2400 meals per month we needed a step-up team. And we think we’ve collected the very best. Dedicated, nutrition-minded, Frisk Fanatics. They’re definitely Frisk*
